Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SixLine ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These Terms are between you and Angheluță Mihai-Cristian PFA, a sole proprietorship (persoană fizică autorizată) registered in Romania, CUI 44655193, registered office at Aleea Compozitorilor nr. 14, bl. Z28, et. 2, ap. 18, București ("we", "us").

2. What SixLine does

SixLine helps you track maintenance for your vehicles: service schedules, service history, costs, and related documents. Some features (VIN decoding, AI-assisted invoice scanning, PDF export, smart reminders, unlimited vehicles) require SixLine PRO, a one-time purchase.

3. Maintenance information is not professional advice

SixLine's maintenance schedules, reminders, and calculations are provided for informational and organizational purposes only. They are not a substitute for your vehicle manufacturer's official service recommendations, your vehicle's owner manual, or the judgment of a qualified mechanic. Always follow your manufacturer's guidance and consult a professional for actual vehicle service decisions. SixLine is not responsible for any damage, cost, or safety issue arising from reliance on information in the app.

4. Your account

You sign in using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us and secure your Apple ID immediately.

5. SixLine PRO purchase

SixLine PRO is a one-time, non-consumable purchase processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system, tied to your Apple ID/account. It is not a subscription — there is no recurring charge. PRO includes a lifetime allowance of VIN decodes and AI invoice scans as described in the app at time of purchase; the exact allowance may be adjusted for future users but will not be reduced for a purchase you have already made.

Apple as merchant of record. Purchases are sold and billed to you by Apple Distribution International Ltd., acting as merchant of record for this transaction. Apple issues the purchase receipt and handles payment processing; we do not receive or store your payment card details. Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's own refund policies — we do not process refunds directly.

Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU, you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase. However, SixLine PRO is digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, delivered to you immediately upon purchase. By completing the purchase, you expressly request immediate access to this content and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once delivery (i.e. unlocking of PRO features) begins, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or tamper with the app in an attempt to bypass purchase or usage limits; use the app to store or transmit unlawful content; abuse the VIN decode or invoice scan features in a way that is not for your own genuine vehicle records (these features have real costs to us and are limited accordingly).

7. Third-party services

SixLine relies on third-party services to function — see the Privacy Policy for the full list and what each one does. Your use of the app means you also accept the relevant terms of those services where applicable (in particular, Apple's own terms for Sign in with Apple and In-App Purchase).

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

SixLine is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that VIN-decoded specifications will always be accurate (they depend on a third-party data provider). To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable Romanian or EU consumer protection law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Settings → Sign out, or contact us to request full account deletion). We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence within the EU.
